NDTV Ka Junoon, Vote Music Genre NOT Singers!

NDTV Imagine is all set to launch another singing reality show ‘Junoon’. Idea Dhoom Machale is all set to end in 3 weeks from now and will be replaced by Junoon - which boasts of a zaara Hatke singing show.

Here audience will not vote for participating singer but for Music genre group they belong. Here goes… the show will feature 3 teams, who will represent a genre each: Sufi Ke Sultan (Sufi music), Maati Ke Lal (Folk music), Bollywood Ke Baadshah (Filmy Music).

Each team will have 6 contestants and will be mentored by an eminent personality from the music industry, namely: Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for Sufi Ke Sultan, Ila Arun for Maati Ke Lal and Anand Raj Anand for Bollywood Ke Baadshah.

After the performances, audience will be asked to vote for music genre they liked. Then mentor of weakest genre will take decision to eliminate one of the contestants from his/her team.

For audience - it is Dhoom Machale with Twist. You will get to hear different kinds of songs in few hours daily. Game for it?

Pls make the hello tune/Caller tune of all the sufi songs sung by Sufi singers.
