Kajol is in a spot. Her husband-actor Ajay Devgan’s directorial venture ‘U Me Aur Hum’ release this weekend and she has got one bad news to tackle. Kajol’s father has died of cardiac arrest, He was 65.
Somdev Mukherjee (also known as Shomu Mukherjee) was Veteran filmmaker and father to actresses Kajol and Tanishaa and Tanuja’s ex-husband.
He was son of Sashadhar Mukherjee, founder of Filmalaya Studios, Shomu was the youngest of the three siblings. His brothers Deb and Joy were actors, while Shomu remained behind the camera.
He has been un well for quiet a while and finally succumb to his disease and advancing age. God bless him!
