It was not only Himachali beauty Preity Zinta who was honoured at the 35th Giant Day Awards. Bollywood’s tall, dark and handsome hunk John Abraham was also honored at the award function.

Sticking to the occasion, John came dressed as a gentleman with a nice complete, well fitted suite. I am sure, you may not have seen him much in this avatar.

Special screening of Dhamaal was organised by Cinemax and Cancer Patients Aid Association for special kids to commemorate Rose Day, a day marked by CPAA to bring happiness and smiles to these brave cancer affected kids.

Celebrities including Ritiesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Shamita Shetty, Viveik Oberoi, Ashish Choudhary along with the producer Ashok Thakeria and director Indra Kumar completely added glamour and more fun to the event. (more…)

Rang De Basanti won over Lage Raho Munnabhai to win the Best Film award at the star-studded Idea IIFA Awards ceremony.

The audience was treated to four hours of non-stop Bollywood Istyle entertainment, featuring some of the biggest bollywood stars on show!. Rang De Basanti won 5 awards, with coming close to tally of 4 was Lage Raho Munnabhai.

The IIFA Awards are described as the Oscars of the Bollywood industry attracting reaching 450 million viewers worldwide. Unlike Oscars where stars are really careful about there dresses, gowns and jackets, things were bit different at IIFA Green carpet walk.

Bollywood stars turned out in some of gorgeous saris, gowns and Indian dresses. Indian influence in stars wearing western dresses was also evident.

It was screaming fans with excitement at the IIFA foundation celebrity cricket match. The IIFA Bolly 11 team took on the IIFA Yorkshire 11, the match was action packed, coupled with its share of sporting misdemeanors.
