Colors TV has been more in news for Akshay Kumar’s Khatron Ke Khiladi and Shilpa Shetty’s Bigg Boss. Guess what? they even got better show than these - AND its Balika Vadhu.
Story is about tradition of Child marriage set in Rajisthan. Show comes as fresh breath of air for many reason. Starting off, title track is awesome (video preview here). Little girl and her kid husband plays their part to perfection.
Other characters are very well written and show grips you once you get hooked to it. Best part, there is no out an out vamp - DADI is the character with grey shades.
She is negative not because she is suppose to be negative but because she is old and believes in traditions she has been taught during her childhood.
Lastly, no blasting background sounds (like we hear in Ekta kapoor shows). Sets are very glitzy and authentic with Rajasthani flavour. Catch this show Mon to Thurs on Colors TV at 8PM - You for sure will find more reasons to LOVE this show!

Suguna is a superb actress. Her acting skill is exceptional for her age. This is a very good serial which depicts the negative aspects of child marriage so well that we get involved with the charecters. I have not seen any other serial in which the acting is so good, especially the death scene. Suguna u brought tears in our eyes! keep it up!
