Annu Kapoor’s musical comeback with Junoon

Do you remember good old Close up Antakshri days on Zee TV? Few months back antakshri made switch over to Star Plus with fresh team and setup.

Call in over-dose or wrong move, things did not click. Annu Kapoor, the man of moment is back into musical action.

He will host “Junoon…Kuchh Kar Dikhaane Ka” on NDTV Imagine. Accepting his new role on TV, Annu Kapur said, “…It’s great to be back with something new… something fresh. Most music based shows today focus mainly on Hindi film music but with Junoon all that will change.”

“…We will present refreshingly different aspects of music to Indian audiences and I am very excited to be a part of this new show. While this is my debut on NDTV Imagine, I have been associated with Gajendra Singh for a long time and this unit is like family to me! I’m sure together, we will create a show that’s truly magical.”

Junoon promises fresh concept and relief from usual bollywood masala songs being sung on every singing reality show. Promos show some cool traditional songs which are really refreshing. Show seems to be creating right kind of buzz!
